Everything you write stays on your own device — see the Data Privacy page for details. You retain full ownership of anything you write here. Because nothing is stored on a server, Glenn Pansensoy has no ability to view, moderate, or restore your entries.
The Commonplace is offered without any guarantee of uptime, data durability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Browser storage limits, device changes, or browser updates can affect saved data, so back up anything important using the export tools on the home screen.
This is a personal tool, not a public platform — there is no sharing, hosting, or publishing of your entries by the site itself. You agree not to use the site to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the advertising served on the page.
